Visit Of The Village Of Possotomè
Possotomè is one of the seven (07) districts that make up the Municipality of Bopa in the Mono Department of the Republic of Benin. Located about 85 kilometers from Cotonou and bordered to the North by the District of Bopa, to the south by the commune of Comé, to the East by Lake Ahémé, and to the West by the municipality of Houéhogbé.

Zangbeto or Guardians of the night is a Voodoo spirit responsible for watching over the sleep of the inhabitants and warding off evil spirits and thieves. Spirit hidden under a straw suit turning on himself, he usually goes out at night, accompanied by his initiates playing music by tapping on bells and drums and singing.
He also leaves the cheek in particular circumstances: festivity, the mourning of an initiate, or a high personality of the village which he provides protection.
8H30: Departure from Cotonou for Possotomè. Our tour will be based on the visit to works of art and pottery, walking on Lake Ahémé by motorized boat. Ceremonies are common and it is often possible to attend.
