Through this tour, we will take you to discover the mysteries in the world of Voodoo. From Cotonou, we will visit the temples and the sacred forests.

Program

Day1: Arrival in Cotonou

- Arrived at the Bernardin Gantin international airport of Cotonou.
- Reception and transfer to the hotel.

Day2: Cotonou - Ouidah

- Breakfast at the hotel
- Departure for Ouidah, a great city of worship Voodoo.
- Participation in the preparations for the festival of religions and traditional cults.
- Visit the premises of the supreme leader of the cults and endogenous traditions (Daagbo Hounon),
- Visit the temple of pythons and the sacred forest of Kpassè.
- Visit the museum built in the old Portuguese fort.
- Dinner and overnight at the hotel.

Day3: Ouidah: Voodoo Festival

- Breakfast at the hotel
- Day of the demonstrations. The day will be dedicated to the discovery of voodoo traditions and cultures. January 10 is a holiday in Benin. Since 1992, under the leadership of the former Beninese President, Nicephore Soglo. Celebrating this day was a decisive step towards rehabilitating voodoo worship, a religion like any other for its followers. That of the vast majority of Beninese and a large part of the African diaspora.

Day4: Ouidah - Possotome

- Breakfast at the hotel
- Departure for Possotomè on the shore of Lake Ahémé.
- Lunch. Afternoon, tradition, and culture to discover the picturesque villages, the sacred forests with for their point of departure the bartering market of Séhomi.
- Dinner and overnight at the hotel

Day5: Possotomè - Cotonou
